1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">There is street parking around the park.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Located downtown Modesto.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">There is a half dome amphitheater &#8211; <strong>Mancini Bowl<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Modesto&#8217;s oldest city park, developed in 1907<\/li>\n<li>Designed by John McClaren, the designer of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco<\/li>\n<li>Graceada and Enslen Parks were designed as one park.<\/li>\n<li>Names come from the first names of the wives of the families that donated the land for the park: \u00a0Grace Beard and Ada Wisecarver. \u00a0Enslen park was named for the Enslen family who donated the land to that portion.<\/li>\n<li>Tennis courts are present.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>the day that I visited the park, an Indian Festival (Holi festival of colors) was going on in the park and required admission which was $20. \u00a0 I was told that the food was catered from San Francisco.<\/p>\n<h3>Holi Festival of Colors 2013<\/h3>\n<p>Date: April 28, 2013, Sunday, Graceada Park.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrates the coming of spring, commemorated good harvests and fertile land. \u00a0With the colors, it signifies, the colors of spring. \u00a0And the color is actually powder. \u00a0I think this is where the color runs got their idea. \u00a0It was a great fun to see this and take part in this. \u00a0There were many doctors at this event, and it was good to see them relax and get a balanced life. \u00a0It was very educational for me to experience this custom, and I feel a closer connection to my patients who are Indian \/ Hindus. \u00a0Plus it was very educational for me to figure out how to get the colors out of clothing, camera bag, sneakers, etc.<\/p>\n<h3>Pictures from Graceada Park, Modesto, CA on that day<\/h3>\n<p>It was a very sunny day and most of us sat in the shade for <a href=\"https:\/\/surgerytoday.com\/calvin-lee\/cme\/sunscreen\/index.htm\">sun protection<\/a>, and had our <a href=\"https:\/\/surgerytoday.com\/education\/sunscreen-uva-vs-uvb-chart\/\">suncreens \/ sunblocks<\/a> on. \u00a0And if we had a hat, it got totally pelted with colored powder.<\/p>\n<p><a the color stuck on my face has a great way of hiding my double chin &#8211; even better than plastic surgery! \u00a0Well, at least for that moment and for that picture.<\/p>\n<p>When not throwing colored powder around we are at work at Surgical Artistry which is located in the Village One &#8220;Northern&#8221; area of Modesto. \u00a0Interestingly, Graceada park was considered in Northern Modesto at the time when it was developed. \u00a0Now it is &#8220;down town&#8221; in the southern part of Modesto. \u00a0I had always spelled &#8220;Graceda&#8221; incorrectly. \u00a0There is
