{"id":804,"date":"2013-06-28T06:42:04","date_gmt":"2013-06-28T06:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/surgerytoday.com\/education\/?p=804"},"modified":"2013-06-29T06:16:01","modified_gmt":"2013-06-29T06:16:01","slug":"day-vegas-cosmetic-surgery-aesthetic-dermatology-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/surgerytoday.com\/education\/day-vegas-cosmetic-surgery-aesthetic-dermatology-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 2 Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Aesthetic Dermatology 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Advanced Dermatology Section<\/h3>\n<p>This was a one of the best days of this educational program for me. \u00a0I spent the entire day in the advanced dermatology portion. \u00a0There was three sessions going on at the same time. \u00a0Most of the lectures I heard were about fillers (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.injectionartistry.com\">Juvederm<\/a>, Radiesse, Perlane, Restylane, <a href=\"https:\/\/surgerytoday.com\/education\/aesthetic-treatment-plan-based-on-facial-anatomy\/\">Belotero<\/a>) and neurotoxins (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.injectionartistry.com\">Botox<\/a>, Xeomin, Dysport). \u00a0This was one of my main goals of this course was to absorb as much as I could about the topic. \u00a0I was thrilled to see the European and Russian experiences with Botox, Fillers, etc. \u00a0There were also sections on ethnic skin and hyperpigmetation. \u00a0It was an eye opener to see a bunch of discussions on the complications of fillers and Botox. \u00a0We&#8217;re glad we have hyaluronidase in our office as part of a kit for filler emergencies. \u00a0There was also a lot of info about hydroquinone and <a href=\"https:\/\/surgerytoday.com\/education\/bits-of-info-about-retin-a\/\">tretinoin<\/a>. \u00a0Did you know that there&#8217;s hydroquinone in coffee?
